Introduction

This document informs Users about the technologies that help this Application achieve the purposes described below. Such technologies allow the Registrant to access and store information (for example, by using a Cookie) or to employ resources (for example, by executing a script) on a User’s device while the User interacts with this Application.

For simplicity, all these kinds of technologies are defined in this document as “Trackers”, unless there is a reason to differentiate between them.
For example, while Cookies can be used in web and mobile browsers, it would be inaccurate to talk about Cookies in the context of mobile applications as they are browser-based trackers. For this reason, in this document, the term Cookies will only be used where it is specifically used to designate this particular type of Tracker.

It is possible that some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may require the consent of the User. Where consent is given, it may be freely revoked at any time by following the instructions provided herein.

This Application only uses Trackers managed directly by the Owner (referred to as “first-party” Trackers).
The validity and expiration periods of first-party Cookies and other similar Trackers may vary depending on the duration set by the Owner. Some of them expire at the end of the User’s browsing session.

How this Application uses Trackers

Needed

This Application uses so-called “technical” Cookies and other similar Trackers to carry out activities that are strictly necessary for the operation or provision of the Service.

How to manage preferences and grant or revoke consent on this Application

Where the use of Trackers is consent-based, Users may grant or revoke such consent by setting or updating their preferences through the relevant privacy options panel available on this Application.

How to control or delete Cookies and similar technologies through your device’s settings

Users can use their own browser settings to:

  • See what Cookies or other similar technologies have been set on the device;
  • Block Cookies or similar technologies;
  • Delete Cookies or similar technologies from your browser.

Browser settings, however, do not allow granular control of consent by category.

For example, Users can find information on how to manage Cookies in the most frequently used browsers at the following addresses:

Users may also be able to manage certain categories of Trackers used in mobile applications by disabling them through the relevant device settings, such as the device’s mobile advertising settings or tracking settings in general (Users may open the device settings and look for the relevant option).

Consequences of not allowing the use of Trackers

Users are free to decide whether or not to allow the use of Trackers. However, it should be noted that the Trackers help this Application to provide Users with a better experience and advanced functionalities (in line with the purposes stated herein). Therefore, if the User decides to block the use of the Trackers, the Owner may not be able to provide the related features.
